I really cant see how a rock concert for the environment is going to help. The thing would be eating up energy and the energy cost to get everyone to the venues makes it a bit hypocrytical.

The worldwide concert thing...been there done that..twice. Anyone have an original idea?

Its not being shown on normal TV over here in South Australia. It would have been nice - an awareness campaign and not being on TV - not a good move of the TV companies.

Ah but they plant a few trees and replace a few energy lightbulbs to gain the eco greeny points as do the large companies that pump out all the crap

Sorry missed it :(

Totaly agree.

Global warming is a natural thing, remember the 70's we were going into an iceage.
Over here it's all the unwashed that are eco warriors.
Crap just an excuse to raise taxes.

Now when I was at school we were taught the rain forrest were the lungs of the earth, but then there is no money in saving it.

Totally agree

Had to laugh at footage on the news, hundreds of plastic cups left littered around the grounds..... and what is plastic made from?!

There's a prog on ABC this week about global warming and how it's all just a swindle to get your cash, looks quite interesting.
