I can log onto this website fine but when I go to my homepage and to any search engine, it doesn't work. What's going on??

No problems here, PG. But some pages are slow to load. I did a big clean up on my computer a few days ago because of this. Just some sites it seems.

Have you tried shutting right down and re-booting?

Have you cleaned out your history/cookies/cache etc?

Dunno what else to suggest :dunno:

It could just be some busy sites running slow due to the volume of traffic on them.

The porn sites do get busier this time of evening :bix:

Could be problems down this way. Ours was down a couple of days ago - and also had trouble tonight.

I use a little programme called CCleaner to keep my computer neat & tidy. Its a free programme you can get here.

Thanks for that Bordy.

I went through it the long way and did everything myself bit by bit.

Anyway I downloaded and ran this to clear up anything I missed.

Only problem is you have to relog onto all your forums and favourite websites cos the cookies you want are crumbled along with all the ones you don't want whenever you do a cleanup!

Do you know of any websites where I can download something like that to clean the house? :P

With CCleaner - run a clean then log into the sites you want your username/password saved. Then go into Options -> Cookies and select the ones you want to keep.
