When I fly back in time so to speak, i feel dreadful. Slurred speech - you know what you want to say but it won't come out the right way and people look at you as though you have been drinking. Hysterical laughter that you get at the 'I am so tired I shall laugh at dead kittens' kind of thing. Feeling dreadfully cold and shivering like a whippet. Waking up at stupid oclock and wanting inappropriate meals such as a full meal when you should have brekkie and brekkie when it should be dinner. Because you are use to holding your urine during the night when you sleep, can you go during the day in UK time? Can you heck as like because your bladder still thinks it is in Australia and will not part with it until its the right time. And dont get me started on constipation. Its only when you look back a few months down the line, that you realise you lost an entire week to jetlag. Oh yes, you fall asleep quite suddenly and wake just as quickly wondering where you are. Its a bummer. |

I got mine from Holland & Barrett, they work by ensuring that you maximize any sleep you get so you are refreshed. They're meant for insomniacs but someone recommended them to me for jetlag ...... and they work ! |

Try getting a homoeopathic remedy from a homoeopath, Sue? They work really fast. Three doses and your fit, if the homoeo knows what they're doing. It's the most powerful form of medicine I know. |

My Mum swears by carrot juice. She drinks three glasses per day for two weeks before any long flights and never suffers from jet lag anymore. I am a bit dubious but it works for her  |

Feel almost guilty here, when we flew out we were totally "right" in 48hrs and on the way back we had none, the kids went back to school the next morning! Sorry you're all struggling  but can't help with advice, I have no idea why we had it so easy! Good luck Sue :kissed: Hope all is well soon. |

Glad to hear all is well. I too can't believe how long it took you all to get right as far as your body clocks go......I guess that is why your ultimate journey is one way! |
