Terry's car has been dying a death recently, wheel wobble, general high mileage wear and tear, been hit twice in the car park at work, etc etc.

On his way to work this morning someone has crashed hard into the side of him on the same side as the big dent was, it's made the wheel wobble ten times worse, and to top if off the other guy stopped, admitted liability, gave full insurance details. So looks like we should be able to get the car repaired or replaced and not have to pay the excess insurance fee either

Now a Western Powwer guy has just knocked on our door and is busy lopping off the branches over hanging the power line and said he can't be bothered to write out the paperwork so he's happy to carry on lopping and we won't get a bill

Think I better get up the shop and check my Saturday's lotto ticket :crossfingers:

Well the lotto ticket wasn't a winner, but I've just entered the Desperate housewives competition to win a house so :crossfingers:

sounds like me - I've always entered every competion going and never won anything !! Even if the odds were every other ticket is a winner, it wouldn't be mine ! :(

Just had a bit of a :scared: moment. Went to fish out the insurance policy and all I could find was the renewal notice :o Renewal was due in March and what with everything that has been going on with us financially I was having kittens that I'd not renewed it. Ended up checking through the bank balance and the payment was there. PHEW!!!! Don't know what on earth I've done with the new policy but I'm not worried about that. Terry has rung them and lodged the accident and the policy is up and running so thank goodness for that.

Well that was a spot of luck as the tree that he lopped the other day came down in the high winds last night. Had he not lopped those branches they would have dragged the power line down as the tree fell.

He's fine  They are not writing the car off. The silly sod should've let the car drift into the tree on the other side of the car instead of struggling to get it to stop 2 inches short
