Do you remember the game you used ot play as kids where someone asked you a question and you wrote down the answer, then you fold the bit of paper hiding the answer and passed it on. Eventually the person would read out a story and use your answers as part of the story.

Can you remember that game? What were the questions asked and what was the story you used to use?

LOL I can remember this game, but not the answers to your questions though Sasha, it was a long time and i was probably around 9/10 so the questions we asked were probably pretty stupid and could have been along the lines of "who's your boyfriend, what teacher do you hate most, whats your fav sweet, who do you want to kiss/marry - which boy should turn into a frog? you know it was the early 70s and times have changed a bit!!!!!!

can't really remember if we used it as part of a story though- to us it was more than likely to be just something silly to pass the time away. We also used to draw a face, turn the paper over, draw the neck/shoulders, turn it over pass it on - until you ended up with a silly picture.

Oooo that one is a good idea CG

I've got to come up with some ideas for a girlie sleepover at Guides and I'm struggling a bit.

So far I thought they could make their own pizzas for tea and cook them on the camp fire, then make their own ice cream sundae's. For crafty things I thought we could make a beady type thing but I need some short, quick and silly games to keep them occupied before bed time.

We used to do a couple of games along that line.

Game 1 has questions like, name a boy, fold, name a girl, fold, name an occasion (wedding, kissed, punched etc) fold, name a place (in a tree, in Mexico etc) fold and so on, you could get as imaginative as you like with the names, events, places, objects etc...

Game 2 was draw hair, fold, draw eyes, fold, draw a nose, fold, draw a mouth and chin, fold and so on until you get to the feet, then you open it up and look at the picture.

My neighbours little girl came up to me with a fortune teller the other day, remember where you would take a sqaure peice of paper, fold all the corners into the middle, turn it over a fold all the corners in again, then half it and stick your fingers in the gaps and write numbers on the outside, colours and the inner bit and a fortune in the inside bit. Then count or spell out the colour to get to your fortune. I dont think I have described it very well, but my friends and I would spend ages doing those when we were kids.

You talking about "Consequences"? girls name, boys name, met at, he said, she said, and the consequence was.......

You can also do it with bodies, first person draws a head, folds it over, next does shoulders and arms, then trunk etc.

That's what it's called thanks Pen

Can you remember the ones though where you ask certain questions like that and then your replies are added into funny stories it is similar but slightly more grown up
