You may remember my post about various issues with our plumbing.

Well, upshot was the bloke who owns the company came out and discussed and he sent a bloke out to sort one of the problems, which was that the copper pipe from the solar water heater on the roof to the bathroom and washing machine banged when you turned the water off. So young lad came last week and sorted the problem.

Knock on door today, he had left his torch in the loft and could he retrieve, so off he pops up his ladder....

Few seconds later a huge bang and this leg hanging through the ceiling in the family room. So now we're left with this...

:irked:

Poor lad, he was so embarrassed, I kept saying not to worry, accidents happen even though I was pretty annoyed obviously. Malc is going to bring some board or MDF or something home to patch up over the weekend as I doubt we'll get anyone out today.

Deep breaths...................................................... :ooer:

Must admit I am being quite calm about it, when they were sweeping up the insulation that had gone everywhere I was thinking "all i need now is my waters to break" :blushing:

I beg to differ.

My OH put his knee through the hall ceiling in our house in the UK
Very easily done, I'm told.
