I'm after a kit to make a rollerblind for our kitchen window (which is about 2.4mt wide and we cant buy an off-the-shelf venetian blind that size...)

Done a google but nothing has come up - anyone know if you can get these here?

Do you have Spotlight over there? They're usually good for that kind of thing.

* Edit: I would think that Bunnings would have them too. :dunno:

if you find a place - let me know !!

I'm after curtains for a 4m wide window, tried spotlight, freedom, big w, k mart etc. Everyone I've asked just shrugs their shoulders. :dunno:

The only option I and you may have is to make one, blinds are quite easy to make, let me know if you want some instructions and I'll copy them from my book

Does it have to be a roller blind cos roman blinds are dead easy to make yourself. MInd you it is quite a wide window for a roman blind.

GJ yep, I've decided to go with a Roman blind I think, as the fabric will need joining up in the middle and I was reading up and it said that's not much use if making a rollerblind. :)

Actually GJ, now you come to mention it, 2.4m is probably a bit wide for a horizontal blind unless it was permanently up or down, the action of opening and closing it would mean that it wouldn't last long, you may need a vertical blind
