Why a Llama???

It doesn't really fit in with the song does it

Give me a home among the gum trees
With lots of plum trees
A sheep or two, a kangaroo (a sheep or 2 or a llama just doesn't sound right)
A clothes-line out the back
Verandah out the front
And an old rocking chair

I dunno really I just like the look of them - mind you I`d settle for an alpaca!!

I didn't know you were there

It was used as the theme for Burkes Back Yard before they axed it, it was a sort of better homes and gardens type show but IMO better.

i used to love Burkes back yard - they used to show it in the uk on BBC (mornings)

In many ways, we have already achieved our fantasty life.

When we first got married, my husband couldnt work (visa restrictions) and we both had no qualifications.

It was our dream just to get a decent flat to rent, gain some skills and get a job.

16 years down the line, he went to college to do English, got working rights and British Passport, completely retrained as a cook and worked his way up to restaurant manager, now catering manager for huge company.

I re-educated myself trained and then retrained again in something else, got some more core skills and now a decent job.

Our flat is OK - its home and we are happy.

We have achieved everything and more that we dreamt of all those years ago.

Anything from now is a bonus.

Actually, our visa would be nice but well that is not looking good.

And if I am being greedy, I would like a nice bra from Rigby and Pellar or whatever its called.

And can I please have a nice new pair of boots?

Or as far as fantasy lives go, is that really greedy?
