Shippers in tomorrow and house is littered with stuff, we are all sleeping on the floor in sleeping bags, the kitchen tops are covered with pots, pans etc and hubbys tools have filled the dining area and the computer is unplugged in the morning, havin withdrawal symptoms just thinking about it.
Hope number 1 son lets me use his laptop.
Was everybodys house like this when the shippers arrived. Any tips for a smooth day tomorrow?

Lol xx

We did it all ourselves and the day before we were meant to be leaving even though I had spent months packing and sorting was a nightmare. Crap EVERYWHERE :o

You get through it though and you will soon be chilling out with a nice cold stubbie in Oz

yes ours was, but our packers were great and said "beleive us when we say we've seen far worse - you're pretty organised!" bless so we filled their faces with tea/coffee/sarnies/biscuits/chip butties over two days

A couple of weeks ago I was having a fit and we were only sending 15 tea chests. I felt much more relaxed once they`d gone - trouble is it doesn`t matter how much I chuck out I turn my back for a minute and more magicaly appears!! :)

I've never heard of shippers turning up and refusing to work because of the mess :P They're used to it and expect it. Just make sure you have one room or a cordoned off area where stuff is that MUST NOT BE PACKED. This area will include paperwork, passports, tickets, money, valuables, laptop etc etc etc oh and some clothes so you don't get on the plane starkers.

It'll be fine. Have a drink.

Enjoy a few :redwine: or :fizz: or :drinks: sitting on a packing case in the evening and don't panic!
