I want to do a CD for Harry, but I dont want it to be full of kiddy songs like The Wheels on the Bus etc...

So far I have the following

Yellow Submarine
Octopuses Garden
Manamana
Build me up Buttercup
Hey Jude
Puff the Magic Dragon
I Am the Walrus

Not kiddy but lighthearted regardless of subject matter. He's 3 by the way.

Any ideas?

My kids used to love at that age songs like "Who let the Dogs Out", or "Barbie Girl" (just don't play that one out loud and maybe not for a boy anyway!!!), they also loved the songs like the Pizza hut song as they loved doing the actions. My sister sent over a weird World Music cd to my eldest and she loves it especially one called Tik Tik Tak. Other pop type songs such as hey Baby (but the Dj otzi version so you get the Oooo Ahhhh's in it), Mickey Mambo No 5, and the good old disco songs like Le Freak, Funkytown, Shake Your Groove Thing, and good old Gloria Estsfan doing the Conga

Indies favourite at the mo is Eskimo Joes Black Fingernails Red Wine, he sings along big time in the back of the car when its on

One of the boys favourites at that age was the can can, another was Tequila basically anything they can shout along to (words or tune) and jump about. Indie also does a mean rendition of the West Coast Eagles song

What about Vindaloo (keith allen)?

Where on earth are you from?
We're from England,
Where you coming from?
Do you put the kettle on?

Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, and we all love vindaloo
We're Eng-er-land
We're gonna score one more that you
ENGLAND!

Can I introduce you please,
To a lump of cheddar cheese,
Knit one, purl one,
drop one, curl one

Kick it!

Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, and we all love vindaloo
We're Eng-er-land
We're gonna score one more that you
ENGLAND!

Me and me mam and me dad and me gran,
We're off to Waterloo,
Me and me mam and me dad and gran,
And a bucket of vindaloo.

Bucket!

Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo, vindaloo nah nah
Vindaloo, vindaloo, and we all love vindaloo
We're Eng-er-land
We're gonna score one more that you
ENGLAND!

Probably my fave footie song!!
