Ooooooooooooooh they make me so cross sometimes!

Was lying in bed earlier and heard a "crash" type noise. Couldnt be arsed to get up and check what it was as couldnt think of anything they'd be messing about with.

So get up and go into kitchen, funny smell.

Look at TV unit and my thermometer (one of those glass one with the little floating balls in) is lying on its side - yep, one of the little blighters knocked it over, smashed it and funny smelling stuff all over the unit, and soaked my book which was on there from being at the docs yesterday!

I think it's some sort of alcohol stuff but I can't get it to wipe off the unit and it's took some of the cover of the book off

Really annoys me when they break stuff, it's not the mess but a really good friend in the UK bought us that one Christmas and now it's in the bin..... :(

Jack Russells have to be the most evil dog alive. I would happily kill all of them but then I'm not a dog lover anyway

If it helps Bridie, I hate those thermometers with the glass bubbles. A gift is a gift though. Maybe the cats didn't like it either. Might have been looking at it, when one of the bubbles moved and they thought it was a mouse

Our cats are so naughty too. They pull clothes that are left neatly folded in laundry and drag them all over the house. The pull cushions off the couch and chairs and use their claws to pull strings out of them. I can never leave flowers in a vase as they will eat the flowers and knock the vase over. The bite grapes out of the fruit bowl and play with them around the house and then I find them squished somewhere!

All the blinds have the pull cords tied up high so they cant swing off them, and the fly screens are covered in holes where they use their claws to climb up them. Thats all indoors as they dont go outside. Outdoors the dog demolishes everything.

I sometimes wonder why I bothered getting all these pets. They cost a fortune in vets bills and in replacing and repairing things they have ruined. But the are very cute (pics in photobucket) and are always happy to see me when I get home from somewhere, not like husband and kids who mostly ignore me

Well if we are talking naughtiness, then Gordon takes the crown.

He actually licks his lips when I emerge from the bath with a towel wrapped around me and thinks nothing of hooking threads with his paws to eat when it is still wrapped around my body.

He has taken to stealing socks off the cloths airer and hides them under the bed and when I found a large piece of wallpaper wedeged in his canine teeth, he still denied it was him and blamed the cat down the road.

But I love him.
