How tough is living here? I mean, this morning I dropped the girls at school, drove down to a local beach - Snapper Rocks and sat there all morning watching the Roxy Pro Surfing with the top lady surfers in the world doing their stuff. I came home, didn't even bother unlocking the door, just took my clothes off down to the undies and dived in the pool. Life here sucks I tell ya  |

Probably not. Apparently you don't get the good waves consistently. In Aus they use Gold Coast and Bells Beach in Victoria. If I must I will go again on Friday and take lots of photos  Am seriously considering letting the girls skive for the day. There were loads of kids there today. I never do stuff like that normally but hell, when the worlds best are on your doorstep and you can sit and watch for free it would be daft not to just once  |

Yup. You nicked the Surf Life Saving Championships from us for the next three years. Not as great as proper surfing but you will still get some hot bods even if they will be wearing silly hats  The state of WA is a dirty word to the Gold Coast now. |

yup. I can quite happily waste a few hours just watching the sea. That's why I enjoy doing my VMR shift on Wednesday mornings. It was fabulous down there today. Will upload some of the pics to my bucket. It's weird though, in the UK we lived in Herts - about as far from the sea as you can get in the UK and there was never any incentive to spend two hours driving to a crappy beach. Now I can't imagine living any further away from the ocean than we are. It takes me five minutes to get there   |

Look forward to seeing the pics! We live 20 mins from a bayside beach, but we much prefer some surf so go down to Phillip Island a fair bit which is about 40 mins away. Its well worth it though and theres plenty of room for all  |
