hello there,
:D we are hoping to move to Perth on a 457 visa. really nervous, although looking forward to it. our visa application was lodged end of june, but they received our medicals at the po box no in nsw at the beginning of that month (june). we are worried because when we check our online appication it shows: medicals and chest x rays required. could they have misplaced them or were we wrong to have done meds so early?????? :( please can anyone advise us? many thanks sam and rich |

G'day sam and rich and :welcome: to the forum. :D 'Front loading' meds is not usually a problem as such, however, where did you send your visa application to? My OH has just had his med done and requested that the result be sent to Aust House, London, as that's where we'll be lodging his app. You may just find that the glitch is a simple one - I'd suggest that you let your case officer know where the meds were sent and they can look for them and try to connect the two bits of the application together. Good luck with it. :thumb: |

Did you have full meds for a 457? We came out on a 457 and it was all done online. When the application is done online there is a specific place that the X-Rays have to go to and they have to be sent directly by the examiner not yourselves as this can cause problems (they were very specific about this on the form and we had problems with our radiologist who had never done any online before so thought that we had to take them with us!). Get in touch with the person dealing with your visa and explain where and when the meds were sent and see how it goes from there. We had to have full meds and X-Rays done for our PR and these were sent on my ourselves without any problems (we frontloaded them as I knew that I didn't want to have to deal with it all in Australia and there were no problems).
