BRISBANE has been rated the world's 99th most expensive city in a ranking of 144 cities worldwide. Brisbane's ranking, down from 84th in 2005, has emerged in a survey in which Moscow has eclipsed Tokyo as the city with the world's highest cost of living. http://www.thecouriermail.news.com.au/stor...45-3102,00.html Brisbane's growing cheapness is likely to make it even more attractive to offshore companies, including Asian companies who would face higher costs moving staff to Beijing and Shenzen in China, according to the survey. My info is from an Australian paper, but I'm looking through the UK papers now, but so far I have only found Glasgow in 60th position.
