We're going to be in Sydney for 3 nights...; and I haven't got a clue where to stay!

Come on folks. Who's gonna help me out?

Where could we stay?

Don't really want to spend SHED LOADS of money but don't really want to stay in a hovel.

Grateful as ever for the feed back.

Marco, have a look at my reply to Bridie's thread in a similar vein - click here.

You can also search for accommodation at the Visit New South Wales website - click on the 'Accommodation' tab and you get a search engine where you can search for digs of any style. :D

If you are leaving it late before booking, check out WOTIF.com Sydney for some last minute hotel prices for Sydney.

Forgot to mention. We stayed in Sydney at the Medina Executive Sydney Central on Lee Street - right next to Central Station. Excellent location - 15 minutes walk to Darling Harbour and 5 minutes to get onto a train.

Booked through wotif.com - got a VERY good rate.
