I think there's a bushfire nearby, you can't see up the street for smoke and my chest is terrible from my asthma.....

Rang the FESA number after checking the website, no information whatsoever, bloody marvellous

Dont know what to do for the best, stay in all day and suffer a bit or risk going out, dont want to waste a precious weekend day sat around the house doing sod all...

Thats not good Bridie. When Kangaroo Island caught alight, you couldn't see down our street and the place is over 50kms away! The wind was blowing our way though. No chance of bushfires in SA at this time of the year though, its freeeeeezing. :ph43r:

I've been doing nothing all day - bored .....

Luckily we popped out for a couple of hours and by the time we got back it had cleared.

It could be something else on fire. It's an unusual time of year to have a bushfire.
