Glad to hear that it's going well now, Sue. :D

Click here for the website to download Mozilla Firefox, then click on the link 'Download Firefox' and save it to your desktop. Once it's finished downloading, double click on the icon on your desktop and it'll install itself! :thumb:

Hi TWT,

When you installed firefox it should have asked you if you wanted to import the IE settings - this from the firefox built in help:

About Your IE Favourites and Settings

When you first install Firefox, it will import your existing
Internet Explorer settings, including your Favourites, cookies, stored
passwords, and a variety of other data. This saves you time customising
Firefox to fit your needs.

I would not suggest un installing IE as that can break things in XP I think. Also, there are some websites that are written by Micro$oft bigots that will have been developed for IE and will not work properly using a standards based browser such as firefox, so always worth keeping IE on there for those cases.

What do you use as your mail client? Outlook express? Time to start preaching the virtues of Thunderbird ........

Cheers,

GeekBoy

Edit to add: Yes - restart firefox to see the selected theme
