Next door have got two dogs, one Rottweiler and one cross something or other (large dog)

They're pretty quiet, except if someone walks past their house or if people are working on the house next to them (which is in the process of being built) when they will bark. Fair enough.

But just lately they have been barking at 7am and constantly going on and on, I think because there are builders at the next door house. But it's getting really annoying, esp on a Saturday! and with my parents coming I'm worried it will interupt their sleep bearing in mind they'll have jet lag to cope with as it is.

I've said to Malc he'll have to have a word to the guy just to ask if he can do something, but I know the couple go to work by 6am and so the dogs are alone, so what more can they do?

Just wondered if anyone else has had this situation and has some tips, or could help please...?

Go round to the neighbour and say something like:

Just wondering if something is wrong at your house at the moment, as your dogs have started to bark a LOT, after you have gone out.

We haven't really noticed it before, but as it is now very noticable (noisy), we thought we had better mention it, in case there is a problem.

Hopefully they will then see what they can do. I know that some collars can be bought that inhibit dogs barking, but that's all I do know about it.
