I am just looking at the costs of flights back to the UK and was wondering is anyone had any ideas for places where you can get the cheapest flights. I am checking all of the standard places (expedia, travelocity etc) but would like advice from anyone in the know. We are travelling with 4 kids (at least 1 is classed as an extra adult :o )
Thanks.

Have you tried STA travel?? I`ve been looking on their site and they seem pretty cheap (not sure if you being in Oz would affect booking though??)

Nicky, just had a thought. I know it's the last thing on Ian's mind at the mo, but could he sort flights out whilst there? Obviously he has his dad and work on his mind, but it could work.

He could do but we don't really have access to the funds there and it will involve us prying open savings here to go back. Someone at school said it is times like this that you need the credit card and I had to point out that with 4 kids our visa is not strong enough to take the strain  . We haven't really got the cash for this sort of trip but if he really wants us to go back we will have to find a way (hence the need for cheap flights).

Try www3.travel.com.au and www.bestflights.com.au and don't forget Flight Centre will better your best price.
Keep your chin up. It's hard, I know. Been there done that, but we seem to find the strength to get through. My thoughts are with you and your husband.

Thanks for those suggestions, at the moment (depending on when we would go) prices are varying between $10000 and $13500 which is pretty painful (looks much nicer in british pounds though :( ).
